The Life Marha project must allow a precise diagnosis of the governance of Natura 2000 sites at sea. The capacities and the commitment of the various actors to act on a Natura 2000 site at sea in an established institutional environment will be studied as well as the articulation between the terrestrial and marine management bodies.

A diagnosis of the different protocols implemented in Natura 2000 sites to monitor habitats is conducted in order to deploy a relevant and homogeneous national strategy for monitoring their conservation status.

The complexity of access to available funding is a hindrance to the implementation of the Docob.
Marha must provide managers with technical information to finance actions in a more operational way.

An audit of the communication actions implemented in a selection of Natura 2000 sites is conducted in order to help Natura 2000 site managers in the choice of communication actions to be prioritized.
